Fairthorn Manor
A group of 11 Children aged between 8 – 14 years and 2 staff went to Fairthorn Manor for a residential week at the beginning of August. We had a fantastic time and done various activities like Archery, Kyaking, Raft building, canoeing, Burma Bridge, abseiling and many more.
It was a real challenge for some of the children firstly being away from there family for a week and also completing some of the challenges that were set. Every one got through it and are looking forward to going away again next year.
The children also got involved with cooking and made there own tea one night. Then enjoyed singing around the campfire. By the end of the week after lots of early morning and loads of late nights the staff were ready to come home but all the children wanted to stay another week.
