Fundraising Manager

Head of Finance

Due to the imminent retirement of our Head of Finance we are looking for their replacement with immediate affect.

Reporting to the CEO you will be responsible for the management and development of a small team of 3, all financial operations, treasury management, regulatory compliance and the financial strategy. The YMCA is entering an exciting period of growth and is looking for a qualified accountant to play a key role on our Senior Management Team.  Ideally, the individual will have up-to-date charitable accounting experience and a working knowledge of RSL accounts.  However, these are non essential and for the right candidate, able to demonstrate long-term potential, we can provide the necessary in-house training and development in order for you to fulfil this role effectively. 

You will also need to be able to demonstrate excellent inter-personal and leaderships skills.

 

NEW CENTRE OPENING HATFIELD

Looking for a New Opportunity in Child Care or know someone who is?

Centre Manager - Up to £28,000 p.a.

An exciting opportunity to lead the development of a childcare nursery, out of school provision and community facilities based in Hatfield. Initially the job will involve premises and team set up and development. Strong partnership working skills required and the ability to develop a range of children’s and family services.

Management and business development experience required. Ability to deliver high quality services and marketing to maximise potential and achieve sustainability.

Minimum qualification NVQ3 in childcare or equivalent.

Deputy Team Leader Nursery - £15,520 p.a.

Minimum qualification NVQ2, working towards Level 3 or equivalent.  Experience of working with under 5’s; self motivated, able to use own initiative, flexible in approach, experience of managing a small team.


Qualified Nursery Workers-£12,285 to £15,131p.a.

(depending on qualifications and experience)    Qualified to NVQ2/3 or equivalent. Previous experience of working with under 5’s.

Trainee Nursery Assistants - £11,695 p.a. 

Working with under 5’s the successful candidates need to be willing to study NVQ2.

Playworkers

from £6.00 per hour, permanent 16 hours per week.  To work with school aged children at after school clubs.  Necessary training and qualifications are provided. 

We are also looking for Playworkers to join Bank cover for holidays and absence.

Administration

Maternity Cover.  15 hours a week - Monday to Friday Mornings. Available immediately initially for 6 months.

Ideal candidate must be computer literate using current internal IT programmes (e.g. Futura) with strong administration; typing skills and a good telephone manner. Knowledge of mail merge would be an advantage but additional training can be given.

Working as part of a team or on own initiative.  

Maintenance

Maintenance Support Worker - £9.90 per hour. 25 hours per week .  We are looking for someone with all round building maintenance experience; e.g. painting, decorating, small plumbing/electrical work and gardening. 

The successful candidate should have carpentry skills to compliment our existing team.
