The IT Suite

Providing a fabulous programme of IT courses, Welwyn

The IT Suite was developed in partnership with Oaklands College and the local authority in 2002. It has recently had a refit of 14 new flat screened computers all opertating the latest windows software. It is a fantastic resource available to the local community of Peartree in Welwyn Garden City.

It is open and available for use, free of charge, by residents and the community. It can also be hired by other providers, such as YMCA Training, for running approved IT courses.

The suite has email and internet access that can be used from 9 in the morning until 10 at night.

There is a fabulous programme of courses available to access – which are suitable for the complete beginner through to the advanced and confident user.

Basically the IT suit had been a very tremendous influence on a lot of people such as YMCAs residents, visitors and people from around the locals as well as pupils coming here to do some training activities in various ways.

It has served as a very good privilege for people whom had wanted to send emails, to browse on important web sites for various essential information and to do some managerial activities which people find very helpful and appreciate a lot.

Hope its usage and its facilities continues to be available for use.
